After much shooting, editing and A LOT of work, I am excited the video for Taylor’s new single, “MINE,” is FINISHED! Creating this piece was beyond fun, and I’ve honestly never had a better time on a shoot. Was it crazy hot? Yes. Were there tons of bugs? Yes. Was all of this offset by the insanely gorgeous scenery? 100% YES! We shot the entire piece near Portland, Maine and much lobster was eaten! My AMAZING producer, Tameron Hedge, actually got accosted by a HUGE seagull who took off with her lobster roll (that’s how good they were). Other than that one little incident, Maine was absolute perfection. On the first day, we shot on a private estate with more than 2,000 acres and a private beach, rounding out the second day in a small harbor town. There was a lot going on, and I had a BLAST with the entire gang!
The video should premiere soon and there’s so much more to say, but I don’t want to give anything away. Until then, look for the premiere coming soon!!

Mine Makes Musical History
Taylor Swift rewrites the record books yet again, as she becomes only the second female artist to debut multiple tracks in the Top 5 on Billboard's Hot 100 during a calendar year. Her new single, 'Mine,' which was rush-released last week after an unauthorized leak of the song hit the web, will enter the chart at No. 3 this week. The tune falls one spot shy of her previous offering, 'Today Was a Fairytale,' which bowed at No. 2 in February. The 20-year-old joins Mariah Carey as the only other female with multiple Top 5 debuts in a single year. The pop/R&B star's 'Fantasy' and 'One Sweet Day' with Boyz II Men both entered the chart at No. 1 in 1995.

NBC used a commercial break during its telecast of the Hall of Fame Game Sunday night to answer a question that New Orleans Saints fans have been asking since the 2010 regular season schedule was announced: Who will perform live before the Saints' season opener in the Superdome? The answer: Taylor Swift and The Dave Matthews Band.
The game, between the defending Super Bowl champion Saints and the NFC runner-up Minnesota Vikings, will kick off the 2010 National Football League season at 7:30 p.m. CDT on Thursday, Sept. 9 on NBC. Typically, the NFL erects a large stage outside the stadium and NBC broadcasts part of the concert live during its live pre-game telecast at 7 p.m. CDT.

'Mine' börjar starkt
Upon its release, radio is claiming Taylor Swift's "Mine" as its own.
Rushed to iTunes Wednesday (Aug. 4), "Mine," the first single from Swift's forthcoming album "Speak Now," registered 321 plays on 134 pop and country stations in its first day of availability, according to Nielsen BDS. The spins translated to an audience of 3.1 million listeners.
Country KFRG (K-FROG)/Riverside, Calif. led all stations with 10 plays Wednesday. KHOP (@95-1)/Modesto, Calif. topped all pop outlets with nine first-day plays, followed at the format by KIIS (102.7)/Los Angeles with eight plays.
Second-day airplay swelled yesterday, with "Mine" logging 522 plays on 180 pop and country stations and 5.4 million audience impressions.
After two days at radio, "Mine" is already the week's 26th-most-heard title on the Country Songs building chart and No. 44 on the all-format Radio Songs building survey. (The weekly Country Songs chart reflects airplay Monday through Sunday. Radio Songs runs on a Wednesday through Tuesday tracking week).
"We instantly got it and started playing it every hour," says KIIS assistant program director/music director Julie Pilat of "Mine."
"With her last album ("Fearless"), some people were surprised that we would play a country artist on a pop station. As soon as this single dropped, however, there wasn't a question, except listeners calling in and asking, 'When can I buy this?!'
"The passion for Taylor's music seems as strong as ever. If all the awards and album sales last album weren't enough, the audience reaction is proof that she's an official pop superstar."
Industry prognosticators estimate that "Mine" will sell approximately 350,000 first-week downloads. Swift's best debut sales week came courtesy of "Today Was a Fairytale," which opened this February with 325,000. She posted her highest sales frame when "Love Story" shifted 360,000 downloads in the post-Christmas week of 2008.
With its hefty out-of-the-box airplay to be combined with its projected first-week digital sales, "Mine" could manage a debut as high as in the top three on next week's Billboard Hot 100, to be released on billboard.com next Thursday (Aug. 12).

CMA Music Festival: Country's Night To Rock
Can't wait for the Oct. 25 release of Taylor Swift's upcoming album? The country superstar will treat fans to a sneak peak of Speak Now when she performs her first single, "Mine," on the CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock TV special.
Swift's top-secret performance, which was filmed last month in Nashville during the CMA Music Festival, will air Sept. 1 at 8 p.m. on the ABC Television Network.
Tim McGraw is set to host the show, which will also feature performances by country's hottest stars, including Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Miranda Lambert, Rascall Flatts, Brad Paisley, Reba McEntire and more.

Tim McGraw has racked up quite a few awards and achievements over the course of his career, but one of the things he thinks is pretty great is the fact that he's the subject of his own country song, thanks to a teenage upstart named Taylor Swift, who went on to become a mega-star in her own right.
Tim wasn't sure at first what to make of becoming the subject of teen angst in a song, but admits he was just glad someone in Taylor's age range knew his music!"I didn't know if I should feel honored, or just old," Tim tells the Raleigh News & Observer. "But I found out she was about 14 and in math class when she wrote that, which made me feel better.
"She was pretty nervous when we first met, but it was fine. I told her I appreciated it. It's cool to have a song written about you, especially by a teenager. I didn't think any teenagers even knew who I was."

Kommer Speak Now sälja en miljon kopior första veckan?
Just nu cirkulerar det mycket på nätet om Taylor kommer att kunna sälja en miljon skivor första veckan! Det skulle vara enormt om hon gjorde detta, och jag tror hon har väldigt stora chanser att göra det. Hon har blivit så mycket större sedan hon släppte Fearless (som just nu sålt nära sex miljoner skivor medan hennes debutalbum ligger nära fem miljoner) och nu finns det då förväntningar att hon kan sälja nästan dubbelt så många två år senare!
Fan anticipation is already building for Taylor Swift's "Speak Now," after the pop-country superstar revealed on Ustream that the follow-up to her multiplatinum album "Fearless" will be out Oct. 25.
But anticipation of a different sort is building among retail and label executives: Can "Speak Now" top U.S. debut-week sales of 1 million units? And if Swift can't attain that now-elusive milestone, can anyone?
The last album to do so was Lil Wayne's "Tha Carter III," which sold slightly more than 1 million units in its first week ended June 15, 2008, and has sold 3.5 million units to date, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s All for the Hall
The Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum’s All for the Hall fundraiser will return to Los Angeles for a second consecutive year. The event, which will take place on Thursday, September 23, at Club Nokia, will again follow a “guitar pull” format featuring performances by Country Music Hall of Fame members Emmylou Harris and Kris Kristofferson, superstar Taylor Swift, and a very special fourth chair that must remain anonymous.
The evening offers a unique opportunity to see these acclaimed singer-songwriters interact with one another as they take turns swapping songs, stories and personal recollections. The “guitar pull” is a Nashville specialty; it originated in the homes of Nashville songwriters who gathered to try out new compositions for their peers. Nashville’s most storied guitar pulls were hosted by Johnny and June Carter Cash. The hallmarks of a great guitar pull are spontaneity and camaraderie.

It took a bit of luck, but Taylor Swift found the perfect groom – for her new music video.
The singing sensation, 20, picked British-born actor Toby Hemingway, 27, to walk her down the aisle in the video for her soon-to-be-released song, "Mine," in which she plays a bride.
"I saw Feast of Love and just loved that movie and thought Toby was so great that I thought it would be perfect to put him in the video," Swift tells PEOPLE about the Los Angeles-based actor.
But it was the unexpected appearance of her lucky number that sealed the deal.
"I was doing some more research and watched another movie he was in called The Covenant,” she says. "I've got this crazy 13 lucky thing, and he walks on screen for the first time wearing a sweatshirt with a 13 on it! That was the deciding factor. It wasn't really up to me, it was about the number."
The costars seem to have clicked in person, too – they were recently seen hanging out together, when Swift was in L.A. to record with an orchestra for her next album, Speak Now, due Oct. 25.
But getting married on film "was a little strange," Swift says. "I get to wear big dresses and wear white all the time on the carpet, but there's nothing quite like actually pretending you're getting married."
If the message in her song "Mine" – out Aug. 16 – is any indication, it’ll probably be a long time before she's ready for the real thing. "It's a song that is about my tendency to run from love – it's been a recent tendency," she told viewers during a live Web chat Tuesday.
"Every really direct example of love that I've had in front of me has ended in goodbye, has ended in breakups," she said. "So I've developed a pattern of sort of running away when it comes time to fall in love. This song is sort of about finding the exception to that."

Adam Young, the mastermind behind Owl City, says he's only "knee-deep" -- five or six songs -- into his sophomore set, but already has some idea of who may be on it: namely, Taylor Swift.
In an interview with HitFix, Young said he has a track in mind for the county-pop superstar to sing on.
"I have talked to her. She's so busy, but she said if there’s time, she said it’d be lot of fun," Young explains. "There’s this weird hybrid country song I'm working on. There's no title 'cause I haven't made any lyrics yet. But that would be the one."
The pairing isn't firm, though Owl City's management said there's definitely "talking among themselves" for a collaboration. A rep for Swift said the singer is on the road and unavailable for comment.
On its face, the idea wasn't inconceivable to begin with. Swift has been known to Tweet to her pal, and even showed up in the VIP section of his show in New York last year. And Young has said that her "Love Story" is the best love song he's known (and, no, the two have never dated).
Young also has John Mayer on his collaborator wish-list for the follow-up to his 2009 debut "Ocean Eyes," a possibility he hopes to present to the veteran songwriter as they tour together this fall. Coincidentally, Swift and Mayer are close friends as well.

Taylor Swift och American Greetings har lagt till 14 nya kort till kollektionen, och nu finns det 43 kort totalt. 
“We had so much fun with the summer collection," says Maureen Meidenbauer, Taylor Swift brand manager at American Greetings. "It is also great for us to see Taylor get excited about the products, and see that there are cards she loves and wishes she could already send out."
The Taylor Swift collection now boasts 43 greeting cards in all.

Taylor var i Kennebunk, Maine för några dagar sedan och spelade in delar av sin nya musikvideo för hennes första singel från hennes tredje album! Musikvideon kommer bli regisserad av Roman White - samma regissör som gjorde You Belong With Me & Fifteen. Som ni ser nedan filmar de ett bröllop med Taylor och sedan i en båt, där det sägs att det blir ett frieri... Ett rykte från människor som var på inspelningsplatsen är att hennes första singel kommer heta Mine!
Hon ser helt underbar ut i bröllopsklänning - och jag kan knappt bärga mig till den nya singeln kommer ut!!! och hennes tredje album, omg omg omg omg !

Here's some more news about country weddings, but this time it's only for a video: Taylor Swift got married at the Christ Church in Kennebunk, Maine, on Thursday (July 8) with Rev. Janet Leighninger presiding. And the groom? Who knows. Just some drop-dead gorgeous actor playing his part in Swift's upcoming music video. Some of the folks on the scene said the song may be called "Mine," but whatever the song is, it sounds like the video will be just as fairytale-like as some of Swift's past work.

Vet inte om den togs samtidigt - jag tror det eftersom hon har en likadan tröja i behind-the-scenes videon som är från 2008. Så det är inte ett helt nytt photoshoot, utan en förnyelse kan man säga! tror jag! :)

When Taylor Swift ended her Fearless tour earlier this month at Gillette Stadium near Boston, she talked to CMT Insider's Katie Cook about her life on the road and plans for the summer. Here's a portion of the interview:
We were with you when you kicked off your Fearless tour in Evansville, Ind., in 2009. Does that seem like a lifetime ago now?
Swift: It does. It was 15 months ago that we started this tour ... and it's slowly morphed into a more advanced version of what we started 15 months ago. I'm so excited that we're ending it in a stadium.
And it's a huge amount of people here. The Evansville show was almost 13,000 people, but this is almost 60,000.
I know. I keep having these moments where throughout the course of the day I'm like, "We're gonna play in a stadium tonight. We're gonna end the tour in a stadium -- 60,000 people." That's just so beautiful to try and wrap your mind around. And it's our second stadium that we've played on this tour, and I don't think that the newness is ever going to wear off playing stadiums for me.
With the tour over, do you think might actually get to do normal things -- like go to the movies?
Well, I'm actually going to be working on my record nonstop.
But you're supposed to have some time off this summer, aren't you?
For me, time off is working on a project and writing nonstop and spending all day and all night trying to get the exact perfect word for the third word in the second line of the bridge. For me, my life is a crossword puzzle at times. Like when I'm making an album, it's all about filling in the blanks and making it click. And when it finally does, it's so worth it.

Taylor i New York på torsdag för att ta emot pris
NEW YORK — She's only 20, but Taylor Swift is getting in the hall of fame.
The country starlet will receive the Hal David Starlight Award at the Songwriters Hall of Fame Awards on June 17 in New York City. The announcement was made Tuesday.
Swift, known for penning songs about her puppy love lapses, has written or co-written every song on her two multiplatinum-selling CDs: her 2006 self-titled debut and 2008's "Fearless," which won album of the year at this year's Grammy Awards, among other top honors.
Phil Collins and music producer Phil Ramone also will receive special awards at the event. Other inductees include Leonard Cohen, Jackie DeShannon, David Foster, Johnny Mandel, Philip Bailey, Verdine White, Larry Dunn, Al McKay and Earth, Wind & Fire's Maurice White.
