På söndagens avsnitt av tv-serien True Blood kommer Taylors låt Haunted vara med på soundtracket! Nedan kan ni läsa mer om scenen där låten kommer att spelas ♥

In a shift away from the rock and blues sounds that normally soundtrack the Louisiana-based show, True Blood music supervisor Gary Calamar confirms to Rolling Stone that this Sunday's episode will feature Taylor Swift's "Haunted."

Calamar declined to reveal which scene the string-heavy track from Swift's Speak Now will play under, but described it as "a racy, sexy scene" and asked which character we thought would be most likely to listen to Swift. "After last week's episode, Jessica and Jason," we replied. "I'm going to leave it right there," Calamar said, adding it was the episode's writer who came up with the idea to use Swift's song. After Swift's camp initially refused to allow it, the singer came forward and said she wanted it to happen.

Det har nu blivit officellt att Taylors tv-special Journey To Fearless som sändes på The Hub i USA förra hösten ska äntligen släppas på DVD! Tyvärr är det för tillfället endast i USA och Kanada och vi i Sverige kan oftast inte spela upp deras format på våra spelare (läs mer om olika "regioner" här). Det  finns heller inga nyheter om den kommer till Sverige, men vi får hålla våra tummar och hoppas! ♥

För några timmar sedan hölls den årliga galan Do Something Awards 2011 till som hedrar ungdomar och människor i underhållningsbranschen som har gjort enastående insatser i samhället och för välgörenhet. Taylor var nominerad till "Do Something Concert" med sin Speak Now, Help Now konsert, där hon öppnade upp sitt sista genrep och skänkte alla intäkter till offren från Alabama efter tornadon.

Taylor fick ta hem priset för Do Something Concert igår, men kunde tyvärr inte närvara vid galan som sänds nu på torsdag eftersom hon hade konsert. Men ett stort grattis till Taylor! Hon är underbar som gjorde Speak Now/Help Now konserten och att hon fick sedan ta emot ett pris för hennes insats är väldigt välförtjänat ♥

Musikvideon för Sparks Fly kommer släppas denna vecka och det är, som något föranat, en turnévideo. Videon kommer innehålla "never before seen footage from the Speak Now tour" och släpps samtidigt över hela världen ♥

Under detta årets Teen Choice Awards, som tar plats den 7 augusti, kommer Taylor bli hedrad för Ultimate Choice Award. Detta pris har tidigare getts ut till bland annat Britney Spears, Reese Witherspoon och Justin Timberlake som alla har påverkat underhållningsbranschen på ett enormt och speciellt sätt. Taylor Swift will be honored with the 'Ultimate Choice' prize at next month's Teen Choice 2011.

The 'You Belong To Me' singer will follow in the footsteps of Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears when she accepts the gong for her "extraordinary contributions to the entertainment industry".

Other past recipients include Reese Witherspoon, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Mike Myers and tennis stars Serena and Venus Williams.

Swift's fans can share their thoughts on what makes the country star their 'Ultimate Choice' by sending a message to @TeenChoiceGirl on Twitter, with the best tweets being featured during the ceremony.

Swift has been nominated for a string of awards at this year's Teen Choice 2011, including 'Choice Music: Female Artist' and 'Choice Music: Female Country Artist'. She will also battle in categories including 'Choice Music: Country Single' for 'Mean', 'Choice Music: Love Song' for 'Mine', 'Choice Music: Break-Up Song' for 'Back to December' and 'Choice Red Carpet Fashion Icon: Female'

Nick’s Kids, the philanthropic fund established by Nick and Terry Saban, has received a donation of $250,000 from music superstar Taylor Swift’s Speak Now…Help Now fund to aid in the tornado relief efforts of West Alabama. Nick’s Kids has joined Project Team Up along with Habitat for Humanity in rebuilding homes and that process is already well underway. “In the weeks since the massive tornado, Terry and I have been working on many projects trying to make a small difference in the devastation that impacted thousands of people in Alabama,” said Alabama head football coach Nick Saban. “Taylor Swift’s overwhelmingly generous gift will go a long way in helping our rebuilding efforts. Since all of our Nick’s Kids staff and workers are volunteers, every dollar will go towards the relief efforts. We are so grateful that such a talented and successful young person is thoughtful enough to do something to make a positive impact on those who need it most. Vouge har utsett stilikoner i American Idols: Icons of Stateside Style på sin hemsida och Taylor är en av dem! Hon nämns tillsammans med Katy Perry och motiveringen säger "With Taylor's energetic charisma and Katy's edgy charm, they look as good in a casual summer dress as they do on the red carpet" - Tommy Hilfiger.

Den 19 september tar 5th Annual ACM Honors plats och Taylor kommer ta emot Jim Reeves International Award som går till "an individual for outstanding contributions to the acceptance of country music throughout the world". Detta är alltså en enormt stor hedring för Taylor, då tidigare mottagare av priset är bland annat Keith Urban, Dolly Parton och Garth Brooks. Stort grattis får vi säga till henne! ♥

The 5th Annual ACM HONORS, an evening of musical tribute performances and award presentations celebrating the non-televised special honorees and winners from the 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, held earlier this year. For the second year in a row, limited tickets for purchase will be available for fans to experience a memorable night in country music. Tickets will be made available via Ticketmaster in August.

Host, presenters and performers will be announced later this summer.

Taylors officiella facebook blev uppdaterad för några timmar sedan angående hennes sjukdom som vid tillfället stoppar henne från att turnéra. Hon har luftrörskatarr (=bronkit =bronchitis) och har flyttat fram ytterligare tre konserter nu i helgen. Hon börjar bli bättre enligt hennes managment, så förhoppningsvis kommer hon på benen snart! ♥

BIG MACHINE artist TAYLOR SWIFT takes fans behind the scenes of her video for the #1 Country single, “Mean,” as “ON THE SET WITH TAYLOR SWIFT: MEAN,” premieres on GAC-TV, this SUNDAY, JULY 3rd at pm (ET).

 

The video was shot at LA’s ORPHEUM THEATER, “It occurred to me after months of thinking about this video and having it keep me up at night, what if we did the entire video in a theater?’ That way we could show all these different story lines and create set pieces that would show these very distinctive performances, having all of these characters struggle and then thrive,” said SWIFT. “Set designers and art directors created a variety of sets including the wide open prairie tundra, a school bathroom and a fashion runway. The first time I saw these sets, I absolutely couldn’t believe it, I was in awe. I love the big city performance scene because just the wardrobe alone was fantastic. I got this awesome flapper dress and getting to work that dress and just the motion; every time you moved, the dress moved.”

 

Actors in the three video vignettes include 11-year old JOEY KING and MATILDA the goat. “It’s one of those moments of, like, ‘Really?’ I’m shooting a music video and we have a goat on the stage?’ She was pretty good at standing there, just blinking, just being a goat,” added SWIFT.

Anledningen till varför jag inte lagt upp detta är för att det har varit spekulationer och ingen har verkat ha en bra källa till påståendet, men nu ska Taylor själv ha sagt att hennes parfym heter "Wonderstruck" till fans i T-Party! Det är alltså fortfarande inte helt bekräftat, men vad tycker ni om det hittils? Parfymen kommer släppas i höst (USA) och Taylor har samarbetat med Elizabeth Arden att skapa sin egna unika doft! Det finns heller inga nyheter om den kommer till Sverige vid tillfället.

A Midsummer Night's Blog

I'm writing you on a summer afternoon in Nashville. All the idealistic markers of a perfect day are presenting themselves right now in this moment. I mean, we're talking chirping birds, blinding sunshine, a just-the-right-amount breeze.. There's the distant sound of power washing from someone else's deck and my feet are up on the patio table. I just ate a really awesome sandwich. Such a simple, good day. And so I just wanted to say hi.

 

I go back on the road tonight and this weekend we'll play in Greensboro, Knoxville, and Louisville. And I guess I should just tell you up front that playing shows on this tour is the best time I've ever had onstage. The crowds we've been playing for have been so unbelievable.. The kind of crowds that jump up and down the entire show, making our view from the stage look like a giant ocean of dancing, jumping people. These are the kinds of crowds that sing the words louder and more passionately than I ever could've imagined. And to have a show that includes ballerinas and fireworks and entire scenery changes.. it's thrilling for me. My band and I have already come away with memories to last a lifetime, and it's not even halfway done yet! The other night, we were playing our first of two shows at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts. I'm all the way at the end of the stadium, playing "Fearless", and I swear as soon as I sang the words "With you I'd dance in a storm in my best dress, fearless"… I felt a drop of rain hit me. Then there was another one, then there was another. And then it turned into an absolute downpour. Everyone is soaking wet. And at this point in the show, about halfway through our set, this fear came over me that everyone was going to leave the concert. I tried to push it way back into the back of my mind and just kept playing, and to my surprise, the strangest thing happened. No one left. Instead, this ocean of people in front of us just started dancing even more, screaming even louder… And that night I actually got to dance in a storm with them. In my best dress. I'll never forget it.

 

Sometimes I get scared that there's got to be some balance to the way things work in the universe-- like you pay for good days by then having bad days, you pay for joy with pain.. Like if you have the most perfect week ever, watch out! It's about to get really awful! Some sort of minor or major tragedy is bound to strike! I hope that's not the way it all goes down. I really hope not. Because this has been a really beautiful summer so far. Lately, I've been writing a LOT. Like, all of a sudden, everything I've wanted to say, express, or just let out for the past several months has just recently become a song. I'm really excited about that. It's a freeing feeling when all of a sudden one day, you're able to verbalize exactly how you feel in a verse, chorus, verse, bridge, chorus pattern.

 

Hey so… thank you so much for the Teen Choice Award nominations!! Six whole nominations! Thank you. I'll be there this year and it will be my first time attending the TCA's!!! Thank you!

 

I want to thank you for the happiness I've felt so far this summer. I've learned to never take happiness for granted. It's the most precious, rare feeling. This summer, for me, it comes from you.. driving to the shows with "Speak Now" painted on your car windows or simply singing along when "Story of Us" comes on the radio. It comes from you, standing up in the last rows or the front ones, having taken the time to know every word I'll sing that night… Oh, and it also comes from an entire stadium that not only stuck with me through the rain, but celebrated it. Mostly it's from all the times you've made me feel like we're in this together. I hope you have a wonderful July 4th weekend and I hope you have a bunch of simply wonderful days this summer.

Det har blivit bekräftat att SPARKS FLY är Taylors nya singel och den släpps till radio den 18 juli! Vad tycker ni om detta? Eller skulle ni hellre ha velat se en annan låt? Jag är i alla fall överlycklig för låten är en av mina favoriter!
