Precis som förra året kommer Taylor bli hedrad för CMT's Artists Of The Year i december! Tillsammans med Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Brad Paisley och Kenny Chesney kommer Taylor få en utmärkelse för bland annat antal album sålda, radiospelningar, sökningar på CMT.com och konserter. Galan sänds den 13 december [Taylors födelsedag!] ♥

 

Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Lady Antebellum, Brad Paisley and Taylor Swift will be honored during CMT Artists of the Year, a 90-minute special premiering Dec. 13 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CMT. Criteria for choosing the five acts included music sales, country radio airplay, concert grosses as a headliner or co-headliner and video streams, searches and page views on CMT.com. During the past 12 months, the five artists have collectively sold more than 9 million copies of their albums and more than 20 million individual downloads of their current singles. Scheduled to be taped in Nashville, the celebration will feature star-studded performances from the honorees as well as celebrity peers from across the entertainment spectrum. The evening's cuisine will be inspired by the artists of the year and prepared by celebrity chef Stephanie Izard, winner of TV's Top Chef competition and chef/partner of Girl and the Goat restaurant in Chicago.

Jordan har via twitter bekfräftat att live-versionen av Speak Now kommer att dyka upp utanför USA! Vid tillfället har vi ingen information när det här skulle vara, men - den kommer förmodligen komma till Sverige precis som alla andra hennes skivor gör. Jag återkommer när jag har mer information från svenska återförsäljare!

Det har nu släppts information att på årets CMA, där Taylor är nominerad till fem priser (inklusive Entertainer Of The Year) kommer Taylor att uppträda! Galan håller till den 9 november och troligtvis får vi höra Sparks Fly eftersom att det är henne nya singel ♥

All five nominees for CMA’s highest honor, Entertainer of the Year – Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban,Blake Shelton and Jason Aldean – will perform at this year’s awards ceremony, the Country Music Association announced Tuesday. 

All of the nominee-performers also performed at last year’s CMA Awards, and three are past winners. Paisley, who’s also co-hosting the awards on Nov. 9 with Carrie Underwood, picked up Entertainer of the Year for the first time in 2010 after being nominated for it every year since 2005. Swift won in 2009. And Urban received the award back in 2005.

Shelton, who was named male vocalist of the year at 2010’s ceremony, is vying for the prize for the first time. 

Aldean, Paisley, Shelton and Swift are the top overall recognized artists, with five nominations apiece.

“Wow! I did not know about that. That’s so many. This is so amazing to have you guys here. I’m looking out and seeing a sea of faces who are absolutely the pulse of Nashville. You’ve all been so nice to me over the years, and you’re all part of the reason I get to stand on that giant stage out there and play two sold-out shows.

“To get an award, this five-million plaque for this album that meant so much to me and still does,” Taylor continued. “I’m so proud of it. The fact that it went out into the world and sold five million copies is kind of unreal. I can’t really wrap my mind around it yet. That’s so many!”

Taylors facebook gav tidigare ikväll ut information att Taylor kommer släppa en stor nyhet/tillkännagivande senare i veckan! Åh, så nyfiken... Vad tror ni det kan vara? Information om en eventuell Speak Now Platinum CD, fler turnédatum i Europa kanske?

Nedan kan ni läsa ett utrad från en intervju Taylor hade inför sina Nashville konserter nu i veckan med The Tennessean! Det är en väldigt läsvärd intervju där de bland annat pratar om turnén, när Taylor rappar och hur det är att komma hem till sin lägenhet i Nashville efter en månad turnerande.

Do you have special guests lined up for Nashville?

"I hate to advertise things before they happen, but I also have friends in Nashville whose music I’m a fan of…and it could be really fun. It could be a really fun two shows. I really have fun having people come out to the shows because my crowds are so frenzied and loud. They scream so loudly for every guest performer. I have so much fun, not only seeing the crowds react, but also seeing the guest performers react when they see how amazing the crowds are. They’re an amazing audience, everywhere we go."

 

What’s it like to come back to Nashville after being away for weeks or months, and at this stage in your career?

"Well, I just recently came back to Nashville for two days, and I’d been out on the road for a month. Coming back, it’s crazy, because I go straight into work mode, and both days, (I spent) the majority of my time in the studio, and then every split second that I wasn’t in the studio, I was spending with my family, and knocking on my brother’s door and seeing how he’s been. It’s funny because when you haven’t been there for a while, you get home, and you’re wiped out. I took a red eye home and my door sensor was beeping every five minutes. I was stumbling around the house in mid-sleep trying to figure out what this beeping was. This always happens. When I came home from my three month tour in Asia and Europe, there was a light that wouldn’t turn off, a chandelier that would not turn off above my bed. There’s always something that hysterically keeps me from sleeping when I’m so excited to be home in my own bed."

Vi har fortfarande inte fått någon officiell bekräftelse att Punk'd-ryktena stämmer eller inte, men nu har ny information dykt upp kring avsnittet Taylors sägs vara med i! Tydligen så hänger detta ihop med låtskrivningen Taylor och Justin Bieber gjorde tillsammans som sägs vara en del av pranket. Läs mer om det nedan!

When Taylor Swift was invited over to Justin Bieber's place to help him write a track for Selena Gomez, she probably didn't expect what was to happen next.

 

Justin Bieber, who has replaced Ashton Kutcher on Punk'd, was to trick Taylor Swift into believing she had set fire to a boat, ruining a wedding.

Pop star Justin invited Taylor over to help write a song with him before asking if she would set off some fireworks.

Apparently, one of the fireworks 'accidentally' landed on boat which was hosting a wedding party, setting fire to it and meaning the guests, who were actually actors, had to flee by swimming to shore.

An insider explained that the beauty didn't cry but was very freaked out and said 'OMG I'm so sorry!' before Justin revealed that she had been Punk'd prompting Taylor to start laughing and ask: "How could you do this to me?"

Luckily all was forgotten later as Justin and Taylor performed Baby together in the Staples Centre in LA.

Några av er kanske kommer ihåg att det sändes ett program på MTV som hette Punk'd som gick ut på att Ashton Kutcher lurade massvis av kändisar i olika situationer och allt fångades självklart på video. I år kör programmet igång igen och det visar sig att Taylor är den första kändisen att bli lurad av ingen mindre än Justin Bieber! Stars beware – “Punk’d” is officially back in business and it’s no longer only Ashton Kutcher to be afraid of!

The MTV celebrity prank series has resumed production, filming its first return episode on Friday in Los Angeles with Taylor Swift as the unsuspecting target, a source has revealed to Access Hollywood.

However, it wasn’t Ashton at the helm.

 

Instead, the prankster who “Punk’d” Taylor? Her good friend, Justin Bieber.

 

In the show’s revamped format, series creator Ashton will no longer be the regular host of the show. Instead, a different celebrity will pull hosting duties each episode, as viewers get to watch them set up and execute their practical joke on their unknowing targets.

Det har dykt upp en superbra recension av Taylors konsert i Staples Center, Los Angeles, den 24 augusti. Läs ett utdrag av den nedan!

Firing off a slew of infectious radio hits, “Fifteen,” “You Belong With Me” and “Mean” among them, the show was an engaging sing-a-long dance party for the audience, but you couldn’t help wondering whether it’s starting to feel a little stale for Swift herself. Every flip of the hair, every strut and movement, felt over-rehearsed. Swift was at her best when it was just her and an instrument in hand, like while seated at the piano for "Back to December."

In an effort to get closer to her fans, Swift relocated to the center of the floor mid-show, where she sat beneath a bare, glowing tree. Strumming a ukulele, which she described as a "happy" instrument, she covered the songs that remind her of California -- the Beach Boys' "God Only Knows" and Gwen Stefani's "Sweet Escape" -- to a party tuned-out audience. For the minority of the crowd who knew the words, it was a highlight of the evening.

Online har lagt upp en artikel på deras hemsida där de skriver lite om att de fick se T-Party, såg Justin Bieber i korridoren backstage, att de träffade Andrea Swift och att Taylor inte sett avsnittet av True Blood där hennes låt "Haunted" spelades i en scen än.
