Blank Space på Rolling Stone's 50 Best Songs of 2014
Taylors senaste singel Blank Space placerade sig på plats nummer 6 på Rolling Stone's lista 50 Best Songs of 2014.

"We show off our different scarlet letters/Trust me, mine is better" is the sharpest couplet Taylor has ever written, except maybe the others in this song. I have no idea why she left a song this urgent and glittery and perfect off her album (it's a bonus track), but geniuses are weird. "New Romantics" is where she really indulges all that Eighties synth-pop she warned us about, with a mascara-smudged nod to the New Romantic scene that gave us Duran Duran and Adam Ant. (Does Tay own Visage records? She can have mine.) It's the best song the Pet Shop Boys never wrote — it could have been the fourth-best song on Actually, or third-best on Behavior. She plays it cool vocally — she even sings "We're all bored," when boredom is maybe the least Tay of emotions. But then that chorus hits and she's inside the mirror ball, on a floor where the lights and boys are blinding and playing cool won't cut it anymore. I thought I was Taylor's hugest fan, but I never imagined she had a tune like this in her.

Reklamfilm för The Grammy Awards
Det har släppts en reklamfilm inför 2015 års Grammy Awards som kallas Taylor Swift: The Grammy Effect och driver lite med Taylors framträdande av All Too Well från förra Grammysgalan. Årets gala tar plats den 8:e februari 2015 och Taylor är nominerad i tre kategorier för Shake It Off.

Taylor uppträder på The BRIT Awards 2015
Igår meddelades det att Taylor är en av akterna som skall uppträda på The BRIT Awards 2015 som tar plats den 25 februari 2015 i O2 Arena i London. Showen kommer sändas på den brittiska kanalen ITV, det är mycket möjligt att den även sänds via YouTube då den gjorde det förra året men vi återkommer när vi har mer information.

Taylor, Ed and Sam are the first performers to be confirmed for the live show on Wednesday 25 February at The O2 in London, broadcast exclusively on ITV.

The Taylor Swift Experience har öppnat
I lördags, den 13 december, öppnades den efterlängtade utställningen “The Taylor Swift Experience” Exhibit på The Grammy Museum. Utställningen innehåller kläder från musikvideor, turnéer, galor och även hennes vardagskläder. Den innehåller även bilder från Taylors barndom, original lyricsen till hennes låtar, hennes instrument och mycket mer. Nedan för finns några bilder från utställningen, men det finns fler bilder här.

Billboard Woman in Music Event
Billboard har i år utsett Taylor Swift till årets kvinna och igår den 12 december hölls ett event där flera kvinnor presenterades som årets kvinnor i olika musikkategorier. Taylor fick ta emot det hedersfulla priset för andra gången (hon fick det även 2011) och det är första gången som någon fått ta emot priset två gånger!
Taylor fick själv välja vem som skulle dela ut priset till henne och valde ut Gena Camerlengo, det fan som hon tidigare i år överraskade på hennes "bridal shower". Taylors vän, artisten Ingrid Michaelson sjöng låten Clean, Taylor höll ett fint tacktal och Aretha Franklin sjöng "Happy Birthday" för Taylor. En magisk eftermiddag!
Taylor Swift had a important message to get out when she recieved Billboard's Woman of the Year honor -- she's continuing her fight to find a new way forward with respect to the industry, selling albums and streaming her music.
"Being named Billboard Woman of the Year for a second time is this amazing early birthday present," Swift said in her opening remarks. "I turn 25 at midnight tonight, and I fully intend to to celebrate like it's 1989." After only polite audience laughter, she added, "I knew it was a bad joke when i wrote it, and I just did it anyway!"

Prior to Swift's speech, Ingrid Michaelson performed Swift's 1989 track "Clean," and Swift fan Gena Camerlengo (who Swift superfans will recognize as the woman whose bridal shower Swift memorably attended) introduced her. "I've been fortunate to share in her transformation," Camerlengo said. "Her ability to write and perform is incredible, but it's her impact beyond music where she really shines...I found Taylor because of her music, but i stayed because of her character."

Taylor finalist för Time’s 2014 Person of the Year
Time magazine redaktör Nancy Gibbs meddelade i måndag listan över "finalisterna" till Time’s 2014 Person of the Year. Taylor har valts ut som en av finalisterna till titeln.

Monday morning (Dec. 8), Time magazine editor Nancy Gibbs went on the Today show to reveal the shortlist of people currently being considered for Time’s 2014 Person of the Year title.
The nominees? In addition to Swift, it’s Tim Cook, CEO of Apple Inc.; Roger Goodell, commissioner of the NFL; Russian President Vladimir Putin; the Ebola caregivers; the Ferguson protestors; President of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region Masoud Barzani; and Jack Ma, the founder of the Alibaba Group. The 2013 winner was Pope Francis.

Taylor utsedd till mäktigaste kvinnan i Brittisk media
Taylor har blivit utsedd till årets mäktigaste kvinnan i Brittisk media på listan MediaGaurdian 100 Power List, som är en sammanställning av de 100 mäktigaste offentliga personer i medierna i Storbritannien. Taylor placerade sig på plats 10 på listan, de fösta nio platserna på listan kneps av män.
Singer Taylor Swift was the highest-placed woman on this year's list, marking her debut on the MediaGuardian 100 at No. 10. Her position was accredited to her recent decision to withdraw her music from Spotify and "bringing the issue of artist remuneration into the spotlight."

Taylor nominerad till en BBC Music Award
Taylor her nominerats till International Artist of the Year på den nya galan BBC Music Awards! Bland de andra nominerade i sammam kategori finns bland annat Dolly Parton, Gregory Porter, Lorde, Pharrell och Prince. Galan sänds den 11 december kl 20:00 (brittisk tid) på BBC One.
The shortlists for the inaugural BBC Music Awards have just been announced.
Competing for the title of British Artist of the Year are David Bowie, Ed Sheeran, Elbow, Jungle, Royal Blood and Sam Smith.
The nominees for International Artist of the Year are Dolly Parton, Gregory Porter, Lorde, Pharrell, Prince and Taylor Swift.
The awards were launched as a rival to the Brits, and billed as the music version of Sports Personality of the Year, but there are only three categories: British Artist of the Year, International Artist of the Year and Song of the Year.

Taylor får Dick Clark Award for Excellence
På söndag (23/11) kommer Taylor att få mota det nyinstiftade priset Dick Clark Award for Excellence under American Music Awards. Nedanför kan ni läsa motiveringen till varför Taylor vunnit priset.
Taylor Swift is getting a special – and new – award from the American Music Awards.
Dick Clark productions announced Friday that Swift would receive the Dick Clark Award for Excellence at Sunday’s show.
Swift is receiving the honor for her record-setting sales. Titled “1989,” her fifth album that was released last month, became the singer’s third album to sell more than 1 million units in its debut week.
Dick Clark’s widow, Kari Clark, said in a statement that “the first time Dick saw Taylor perform, he knew she was something special.”
Swift will kick off the awards show with a performance of “Blank Space,” her new single which hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart this week.

We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together i Pitch Perfect2

The Taylor Swift Experience
The Grammy Museum öppna en ny utställning kallad The Taylor Swift Experience, den 13 december i år. Utställningen kommer att innehålla allt från Taylors gamla barnböcker från när hon var barn, kostymer från Red Tour, hennes Grammy för Award for Best Female Country Vocal Performance 2009 for “White Horse och mycket mer. Utställningen kommer att pågå fram tills den 10 maj 2015.
The GRAMMY Museum will launch The Taylor Swift Experience on December 13th, which will feature Taylor’s early childhood reading books; tour costumes from her Red Tour; handwritten lyrics for her Top 20 hit “22”; her 2009 GRAMMY Award for Best Female Country Vocal Performance for “White Horse” and much more. Taylor till The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show
För andra året i rad skall Taylor upptäda på The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. I år kommer hon spela låtar från sitt nya album 1989. Showen kommer att sändas den 9:e december kl. 10pmET på CBS i USA. Vi återkommer när vi vet när showen kommer sändas i Sverige.
Taylor är aktuell med den nya parfymen Incredible Things. Parfymen finns sedand den 1/12 -14 på Kicks. Ni kan även hitta de tidigare parfymerna Wonderstruck, Wonderstruck Enchanted och Taylor by Taylor Swift hos ett antal återförsäljare runt om i landet.
