Fast-rising Australian singer-songwriter Vance Joy, named as Taylor Swift's worldwide support act for her 2015 global tour, has admitted how impressed he was by the pop superstar's "lovely [and] natural" personality.
Swift handpicked Joy for her 1989 world tour after she delivered a heart-felt version of his signature song Riptide on BBC1 last month.
"She liked my music [then] her people got in touch with my people and gave me a call. I was like, 'Are you for real?'," he said, speaking to Fairfax from Idaho on Friday during his American tour.
