One of the biggest superstars in music today will close out this year's CMA Music Festival. Taylor Swift will perform the last nightly concert at LP Field on June 12. The festival takes place June 9-12 in downtown Nashville.
The event is celebrating its 40th birthday since beginning as Fan Fair in 1972.
"Taylor has been a strong supporter of CMA Music Festival since she burst on the national scene a few years ago, and we are thrilled to welcome her back," said Steve Moore, CMA chief executive officer.
Swift, who has won six CMA Awards and four Grammy Awards, has participated in the CMA Music Festival every year since her debut performance during the daily concerts at Riverfront Park in 2006.
She performed during the nightly concerts at LP Field in 2007-2009 and held a massive autograph signing session for her fans at Bridgestone Arena in 2010 that lasted more than 15 hours.
