Artikel om Taylors femte album
Now that Taylor Swift's RED tour is on hiatus, she can turn her attention to other things — like filming her new role in the upcoming movie The Giver, and promoting “Sweeter than Fiction,” the song she did for the new British film One Chance. But what’s really occupying all of Taylor’s mental energy these days is brand-new music. In fact, she says working on the follow-up to Red is her “full time job.”
"I’m in full swing of writing the next album, because I’ve been conceptualizing it and working on it as much as I could given the tour schedule for the last year," Taylor tells ABC News Radio. "But now it’s my full-time job."
And just like your job can sometimes get in the way of having fun, Taylor admits that her “job” is interfering with her social life.
"I’m absolutely distracted from any social event at all times," she explains to ABC News Radio. “‘Cause I’m always going to my phone and recording some lyric idea or some melody."
While creating new music is one of Taylor’s very favorite things to do, she admits that, surprisingly, the process is causing her to experience a strange combination of emotions.
"This is when I’m in like, high gear of, like, anxiety and stress, but also happier than I’ve ever been," laughs Taylor about her creative process. "So songwriting for me is kind of like a really intense, wonderful, stressful, thing!"
Taylor will take her RED tour to Australia and Europe in the coming months. Her next album probably won’t be out for another year.
The Secrets to Taylor Swift's Street Style Success
1. Her go-to cut
"I love a high waist. It’s a comfort zone for me."
2. Her favorite prints
"Stripes and polka dots are a big deal for me. You know how you gravitate to things at the store? For me it’s polka dots and stripes."
3. Her perfect pairing
"Skinny pants work well on my shape and I like that you can see the shoes since the hem of leg hits high."
4. Her must-have look
"I like a simple, elegant retro look. I also like shirts with cool collars."
5. Her signature shades
"I wear a lot of different sunglasses, but Ray Bans are my go-to."
6. Her footwear favorites
”I usually wear oxfords in the fall and winter and flats and heels in the summer. I like that oxfords boy up your look.”

Sweeter Than Fiction på svenska Itunes!
Taylor Swift is aiming for ’80s pop with ‘Sweeter Than Fiction,’ her contribution to the ‘One Chance’ soundtrack co-written with fun. guitarist Jack Antonoff. But does it work?Yes. And it works beautifully. The production is reminiscent of Brat Pack classics like OMD’s ‘If You Leave’ and the Cure’s ‘Friday I’m in Love,’ but in terms of her own previous work, Swift’s sugary offering is most akin to her ‘Red’ track ‘State of Grace,’ with its electric guitars, infectious melody and heartfelt, optimistic lyrics. In ‘Sweeter Than Fiction’ Swift encourages a down on his luck love, singing, “I’ll be one of the many saying / Look at you now, look at you now, now / I’ll be one of the many saying / Look at you now, look at you now, now / I’ll be one of the many saying you’ve made us proud, you’ve made us proud.”Swift’s vocals are stronger than usual on the track, and her harmonies are heaven sent. If you listen to this song and don’t want to hold hands and dance in a field and hug the person you love, check your pulse. You may need more help than we can give you.

Taylor Swift talks next album, CMAs and Ed SheeranThe 23-year-old pop star was honored for a record sixth time as songwriter-artist of the year by the Nashville Songwriters Association International, surpassing guys like Vince Gill and Alan Jackson. She earned the award with 14 hits in the top 30 over the last year, a tribute to the popularity of her multiplatinum fourth album, "Red."As Swift accepts the award, she's six months deep in the songwriting process for her next album."I think the goal for the next album is to continue to change, and never change in the same way twice," the seven-time Grammy winner said. "How do I write these figurative diary entries in ways that I've never written them before and to a sonic backdrop that I've never explored before? It's my fifth album, which is crazy to think about, but I think what I'm noticing about it so far is it's definitely taking a different turn than anything I've done before."Fortsätt läsa

Taylor Swift’s Costume Designer Talks ‘Red Tour’ OutfitsTo help the 23-year-old’s love stories come to life on stage, Emmy-award winning costume and wardrobe designer Marina Toybina tells The Hollywood Reporter how she prepped for the show and the inspiration behind the designs. Toybina, who has designed for The X-Factor, and Katy Perry’s and Carrie Underwood’s tours, recently received an Emmy award on Aug. 14 for her costume designs for Swift’s opening number at this year’s Grammy Awards. The Hollywood Reporter:Some of the costumes for Taylor’s tour looked like they required so much detail, especially the white Victorian dress she wore while performing “I Knew You Were Trouble.” How much work went into creating those more elaborate pieces?Marina Toybina: Like any design project, you have certain stages of artistry that must be obtained in order to accomplish the unexpected. For me, production details, choreography, conceptual staging and of course, Taylor’s vision was key. Once Taylor created her set list for the tour and the choreography was discussed, the design process was in full effect to incorporate Taylor’s ideas. After my designs were approved, sketches locked in and fabrics chosen, Taylor’s feedback was integrated with details tweaked. Draping, sewing, creating and handcrafting became beyond a full time job. It took my team and me a little over three weeks to put the entire tour together—difficult, but not impossible. The fittings went successfully, dress runs were exciting and then, it was showtime!THR:What would you say was the inspiration behind all the outfits?Toybina: Taylor’s songs, as well as our passion, art and individuality. It is the fire inside all of us that keeps the mind believing and the heart beating. My goal was to make sure each design told its own story and could serve as a visually, beautiful extension to Taylor’s stage presence.THR: Considering that there were so many wardrobe changes throughout the show, what was challenging about designing 128 pieces—23 for Taylor and 103 for the dancers?Toybina: Developing a show is a fluid process, so you have to be ready to roll with deadlines and creative changes. Adapting to wardrobe changes/alterations during tour rehearsals is not always easy or practical, but you get it done and you sleep after it’s all over.THR: Hopefully you’re getting some rest now. What was your favorite moment working on the Red Tour?Toybina: [Watching] the opening night [in Omaha, Neb.]. Nothing could be more rewarding than seeing your own work, alongside all the other beautiful masterminds, come alive. Designing is like a puzzle. As you build your art piece by piece, the determination starts evolving into its own masterpiece. It’s a feeling like no other.

43rd Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Alabama front-man Randy Owen and Taylor Swift were among those honored at this year's Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.
The Nashville Songwriters Association International honored this year's honorees during a ceremony Sunday. Some of the inductees included Randy Owen, Will Jennings, Layng Martin, Jr., and Jeffrey Steele. The inductees have worked with some of music's most talented stars such as Keith Urban, Cher, Reba McIntere, B.B. King and Elivs Presley.
Inductee Jeffrey Steele said he was overwhelmed by the honor.
"When you're doing something that you love, the reward is right there," said Steele. "Just doing that and I've always looked at it that way and I had a lot of big dreams and been able to accomplish a lot of things but this one was never on my radar."
Taylor Swift also made history at this year's ceremony. She was awarded the prestigious, Songwriter/Artist of the Year Award for the sixth time in seven years, more than any other artist.
"Breaking a record on any given day, anytime you get to say you broke a record for something is wonderful, and I'm just so thankful to the songwriters of Nashville voting for me six times in a row," said Swift. "It's crazy, it's generous, it's amazing."
The Nashville Songwriters Association International was established in 1967.

Taylor Swift 's little black book is full of famous names, but the singer says she's yet to meet the love of her life. The 23-year-old country singer covers the November issue of InStyle, where she shares her thoughts on romance, jealousy and more.
"I think that you can love people without it being the great love," says the country cutie. Swift credits her collaborator and friend Ed Sheeran with changing her perspective on happily ever after.
"He says there are different kinds of love: There’s physical attraction, mental attraction, and emotional attraction; there’s also comfort and obsession. You need to have all of those things in one person. You have to mentally respect them, be physically attracted, and have a comfort level. You’re obsessed with them, yet you also know they’re going to stay," she explains. "I’ve never had that in one person."
Swift’s early ideas about romance “came from a daydreamy prince-and-princess place,” she adds. But when I actually experienced it, I realized it wasn’t those things. It can be—but not always.”
The single singer notes that her taste in men is at times questionable. Still, she has faith that her Mr. Right is right around the corner.”My friends tease me about the fact that if someone seems bad or shady or like they have a secret, I find them incredibly interesting. That’s just a phase I’ve been in lately,” she tells the mag. “I don’t think this should be how I proceed in life. It’s important to be self-aware about these things because you don’t want to end up with that guy.”
And while she may be a global superstar, the multiple Grammy winner isn’t immune from being envious of other people in relationships. “I feel jealousy, but I’ve been trying to channel it into mutual admiration and inspiration,” she explains. “If someone has a really great boyfriend or career, I think, it’s cool that happens. Now I have proof it can happen. Maybe that’s out there for me someday. “

Taylor Swift Education Center
Five years ago, Taylor Swift was singing about sitting in class in her song, “Fifteen.” This week, the pop/country superstar is preparing to open three classrooms of her own.
On Saturday, the Taylor Swift Education Center will open earlier than expected at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. The center is the product of a $4 million donation Swift pledged in 2012 — the largest single donation made by an artist in the museum’s 46-year history.
The center, which had a previously announced opening date of early 2014, spans two floors and includes three classrooms and a learning lab, as well as an interactive children’s exhibit gallery that will open next year. Swift told The Tennessean on Tuesday that she was happy that the classrooms came first, as those were a priority for her and the museum.
“In school, I was taught a certain amount about music, a certain amount about theater, and that interest sparked something in me. It made me look elsewhere to learn much more about it,” said Swift, now 23.
“I think, for me, it’s just going to be so interesting to see Nashville continue to be this hub for music, and this hub for music education. I love the fact that people are coming from all over the world to go to school for music (in Nashville), I love the fact that this is now a new opportunity for kids to be a part of programs that are going to help them know more about what we do here.”
The completed center will give the museum seven times more space for new programs, as well as firmly established ones. Museum director Kyle Young said that about 75,000 students participated in the museum’s educational offerings in 2012. “This gives us a lot more space to do a lot more things,” Young said.
Those plans expand beyond music, and won’t just be geared for children, but teens, adults and seniors, as well.
