Update: hinner inte fixa mer med bloggen idag, har fått gjort ganska mycket ändå tycker jag och den ser väl helt okej ut för tillfället för att vara gjord av mig haha! jag har fortfarande rätt många saker att göra klart, men jag får göra det om någon vecka. Ska ut till sommarstället hela veckan, med undantag med en snabbis hem på onsdag där jag kanske hinner slänga in något inlägg, för ska nämligen på premiären av eclipse då (a). hihi! så ni får ha det så bra, hoppas ni haft en dunderbra midsommar och så ses vi om några dagar! pussar<3

På måndag, den 28 juni, kommer www.forbes.com/celebs släppa sin top 100 lista på vilka kändisar som tjänar mest och har mest 'makt' i mediaindustrin om man kan säga så! Förra året, 2009, kom Taylor på #69 - jag tror hon garanterat kommer vara inom top 50 detta året!

Hade tänkt att slänga upp ett inlägg i söndags kväll och säga att jag inte skulle uppdatera på några dagar, eftersom jag har varit i Stockholm från i måndags och kom hem idag (/igår eftersom klockan är halv ett på natten nu). CMT Insider har kommit med en intervju med Taylor som hon gjorde tidigare denna månad där hon pratar om sina sommarplaner, hennes nya album, Fearless Tour, CoverGirl och Lady Gaga! Lite allt möjligt!


When Taylor Swift ended her Fearless tour earlier this month at Gillette Stadium near Boston, she talked to CMT Insider's Katie Cook about her life on the road and plans for the summer. Here's a portion of the interview:

We were with you when you kicked off your Fearless tour in Evansville, Ind., in 2009. Does that seem like a lifetime ago now?

Swift: It does. It was 15 months ago that we started this tour ... and it's slowly morphed into a more advanced version of what we started 15 months ago. I'm so excited that we're ending it in a stadium.

And it's a huge amount of people here. The Evansville show was almost 13,000 people, but this is almost 60,000.

I know. I keep having these moments where throughout the course of the day I'm like, "We're gonna play in a stadium tonight. We're gonna end the tour in a stadium -- 60,000 people." That's just so beautiful to try and wrap your mind around. And it's our second stadium that we've played on this tour, and I don't think that the newness is ever going to wear off playing stadiums for me.

With the tour over, do you think might actually get to do normal things -- like go to the movies?

Well, I'm actually going to be working on my record nonstop.

But you're supposed to have some time off this summer, aren't you?

For me, time off is working on a project and writing nonstop and spending all day and all night trying to get the exact perfect word for the third word in the second line of the bridge. For me, my life is a crossword puzzle at times. Like when I'm making an album, it's all about filling in the blanks and making it click. And when it finally does, it's so worth it.

Priset går till låtskrivare som har haft/har en stor del av musikindustrin med deras egna låtar och detta är enormt stort för Taylor att bli ärad till ett sånt pris! Grattis! <3 du förtjänar den !

NEW YORK — She's only 20, but Taylor Swift is getting in the hall of fame.

The country starlet will receive the Hal David Starlight Award at the Songwriters Hall of Fame Awards on June 17 in New York City. The announcement was made Tuesday.

Swift, known for penning songs about her puppy love lapses, has written or co-written every song on her two multiplatinum-selling CDs: her 2006 self-titled debut and 2008's "Fearless," which won album of the year at this year's Grammy Awards, among other top honors.

Phil Collins and music producer Phil Ramone also will receive special awards at the event. Other inductees include Leonard Cohen, Jackie DeShannon, David Foster, Johnny Mandel, Philip Bailey, Verdine White, Larry Dunn, Al McKay and Earth, Wind & Fire's Maurice White.

As these quotes show, awards are a great thing to have but are not necessary to be a successful music artist and have music that resonated with the general population. Awards show have become a bit like sports games with people supporting music artists, like opposing teams in sports. Taylor plays this game very well balancing out her awards shows with no-gains by scheduling other events that improve her reputation after or before awards shows and getting more praise! For instance, even though she gained no awards at the ACM Awards in 2010, in subsequent weeks she gained 4 more awards to add to her collection (NARM Artist of the Year, BMI Song of the Year, BMI Pop Award and the Hal David Starlight Award). Another example is a the recent CMT Awards in which she gained no awards to the dismay of her fans, she is going to have a 13 hour meet & greet along with an acoustic performance that day. Taylor has unknowingly predicted in her song ‘Change’: “Things will change and we’ll all sing hallelujah!” That will come true if Taylor puts out a successful EP this summer (as rumored to happen) and a successful album this fall (very likely, that it will be a major hit on the charts). Then everyone will sing hallelujah.

Music superstar TAYLOR SWIFT was announced today (6/10) as the first artist to join forces with Mix Me In2, the groundbreaking, creative, and fun music technology developed by Atlanta-based Fried Green Apps.

Executives from the company will be on hand Sunday 6/13 at Taylor Swift’s 13-hour Meet and Greet in Nashville to unveil Mix Me In2 Taylor Swift, a new iPhone App, powered by Mix Me In2’s patent-pending technology, which allows music lovers to literally go inside the music.  Fans can use the app to create hundreds of different versions of their favorite songs.

They can remove or change instruments. They can even mix themselves into the music by replacing existing instruments and vocals with their own.  It’s an exciting way to experience--and creatively re-imagine--music.

“I love playing music, and I love creating music,” Taylor said. “And, as somebody who is also a big music fan, I always love finding acoustic versions of my favorite songs. I think Mix Me In2 will be a great way for fans to have fun interacting with my music and to listen to new versions of my songs!”

In addition to the chart-topping original recording, each song in Mix Me In2 Taylor Swift comes with 5 heretofore never-released versions: rock, acoustic, urban, piano, and coffee house. All the music in Mix Me In2 Taylor Swift was approved and reviewed by Taylor Swift, her record label, and management team. The Mix Me In2 Taylor Swift app will cost $2.99 and comes with 2 of Taylor’s biggest hits, “Love Story” and “You Belong With Me.” Additional songs will cost $1.99 each.

“We are thrilled at the enthusiasm and support we have gotten from Taylor and her team throughout this process,” said Fried Green Apps CEO Bill Pike. “They have continually stressed how important it was to make this about the music and the fans’ enjoyment of it, which is exactly why we invented Mix Me In2.”

Fans can upload their versions of the songs to TaylorSwift.com and share them via Facebook and Twitter.

Though Taylor Swift is the first artist to release her original music through this groundbreaking app, Fried Green Apps is working with several other major record labels and artists. The company plans to release versions of the app for The Plain White T’s, Breaking Benjamin, and other major artists starting in the next few weeks.

Igår var det äntligen dags för CMT Music Awards 2010 där Taylor var nominerad till tre awards - dock vann hon ingen, vilket jag inte förstår då hon förtjänar de alla! Men för att se det positivt, får man tänka att det var ändå två år sedan Fearless kom ut och hon har vunnit enormt många andra priser! Hon är ändå en vinnare i våra ögon, eller vad säger ni?! :)

Hon var enormt vacker, med plattat hår (btw, det ser ut som om hon har färgat sitt hår lite eller är det bara jag som tycker att det ser ljusare ut?) och en söt mörkröd klänning!

FHM Magazine har släppt sin top 100 sexiest women lista för 2010. Läs nedan och se att Taylor hamnat på nionde plats! Lite kul faktiskt? :)

 

FHM magazine released their top 100 sexiest women this year for America. Just like the UK list posted yesterday, Megan Fox has been bumped down to number 2 while model Marisa Miller, who was number 3 on the UK list, was crowned number 1 as the sexiest woman in the world.

Rounding out the top ten were:

Taylor Swift will kick off the 2010 Gillette Stadium Concert Series presented by Dunkin Donuts when her Fearless Tour stops in Foxborough. Swift sold out Gillette Stadium in 20 minutes when tickets went on sale in December 2009. The four-time Grammy Award Winner and CMA Entertainer of the Year will be the first female solo artist to headline the stadium since it opened in 2002. Joining her will be pop prodigy Justin Bieber, former American Idol contestant and top-selling country music artist Kellie Pickler and Gloriana, whose debut album entered the country music charts at number one.

"It's amazing!" she says, bounding through the backstage labyrinth of the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California, where she'll be performing tonight — long Goldilocks curls bouncing behind her as she goes. "My mom and I just redid the whole thing. Come see!"

Inside, the bus is a lush girly fantasy in chocolate brown and peacock blue, complete with a tufted brown velvet couch and pearly blonde laminated wood paneling, an electric fireplace ("Because I'm always freezing!"), a big champagne marble bathroom, and a Star Trac treadmill that folds up like a Murphy bed. "We bought the old bus from Cher," explains Swift's mom, Andrea, who goes on every tour, watching from the sidelines, keen-eyed and silent as an eagle. "So it was all black and gothic." For the new bus, she says, "We wanted to brighten things up."

Taylor Swift has BIG plans for this year’s CMA Music Festival -- she announced today that she is going to spend 13 hours meeting as many of her fans as possible!

Taylor will be hosting “Taylor Swift’s 13-Hour Meet & Greet” at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, in the heart of CMA Music Festival activities, on June 13th. The event will run from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Taylor will kick off the festivities at 8:00 a.m. that day, and will meet as many fans as possible over the course of the 13-hour event. The event will include a short acoustic performance that afternoon shortly after 2 p.m., and will also feature several different fan activities throughout the day. “Taylor Swift’s 13-Hour Meet & Greet” is open to the general public and admission is free.

“My favorite thing about CMA Music Festival has always been getting to spend time with the fans, so this year I wanted to figure out a way to meet as many of them as possible,” Taylor said. “Thirteen is my lucky number, and the 13th is during Music Festival, so I think spending 13 hours that day with my fans is going to be amazing!”

Taylor Swift’s "worst fear" is disappointing her parents.

The 20-year-old star has made a name for herself as a singer and actress, and is currently working on her new album. She says her mother and father have been instrumental in her success as they supported and encouraged her so much, something she is eternally grateful for.

"My parents have always been very respectful of me so I’ve always been really respectful of them," she explained to J14 magazine. "My worst fear is to let them down so that’s why I don’t misbehave."

Taylor has discussed her song writing process in the past, admitting she usually draws on her romantic relationships for inspiration. She has now explained writing about things that happen in her life is often the only way she can make sense of what she’s going through. She finds making lists of her feelings helps her cope, and then turns the notes into songs.

"When I finish a song, sometimes I think, ‘I must be the only person who has ever felt this way, right?’" she explained. "You can be afraid of a lot of things, but you jump anyway."
